About the Service

Everyone struggles with writing.  It’s a skill that can only improve with practice.  In the meantime, you need help and advice.  That’s where I come in.  I’ve been a professional writing tutor for eight years.  Now, I’m available to help you. This service is designed for anyone struggling with the writing process at any stage. Maybe your career requires you to write, and you'd like to brush up your skills. Maybe you're a student working on a paper and aren't sure if it sounds "right." Whatever your needs, I can work with you. 

There are two ways I can help you.  First,  you may be in the middle of the process or are stuck getting started.  It happens to all of us.  Guess what?  Writing is a lot easier when you can talk about it with someone.  Simply go to this whiteboard, and we’ll talk it out.  The first 15 minutes are free.  Then, it’s $10 per 30 min.

“Walk-in” hours will be established at a later date.

Now for the second option:  You may have a completed draft and want someone to look it over and make suggestions.  Email  or share your documents on google drive (remember to convert it to a google document first).  I'll return your paper with comments/suggestions and minor corrections within 3 days of receipt of payment.

What to do:

1. Click "Add to Cart" to begin the payment process:  9.99 USD.

2. Email me or share your document with me.  I ask that you also include information about the assignment and what you'd specifically like me to look for.  See the Required Information page for more details.

3. I'll return your document with comments/suggestions within 3 days of receipt of payment.

Not sure what to expect from a writing tutorial? No problem.  The following is a sample paper with my comments:  You'll see that there are comments on the margin of the paper, highlighting the problem area.  There are also "end" comments that make general comments/suggestions about the paper as a whole.  Sample Paper with Comments. Next Steps:  Once I return your paper with my comments, the next draft is up to you.  If you want to speak to me through the whiteboard or resend your paper, that's fine.  Remember:  the same prices apply.
